RET1875 Clinical Practice II

This course is a continuation of Clinical Respiratory Care I with an emphasis on critical respiratory care. Rotation through specialty areas including pulmonary rehab, cardiac catherization lab, pulmonary function lab, operating room, emergency room and post-anesthesia recovery areas. Mini case studies (SOAPs) are presented in post conference daily and weekly on assigned patients. A practice CRT exam, an article review with a pre-approved topic relevant to the practice of Respiratory Care, and a major case study on a cardiopulmonary patient are required.
