HSA4170 Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management

This course covers the process of how to analyze Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) concepts for public and private payer sources along the continuum of care including contractual components, health insurance, reimbursement, costs of care, managed care, and other current trends. It will equip students to take an active role actively participate in RCM in the front-end, middle, and back-end processes. It is recommended that students take ACG3024 Accounting for Non-Financial Majors prior to taking this course, though it is not required.
