MUH2110 Introduction to Music History and Literature

This is a survey course in music history and literature from the Middle Ages to the present. There will be an emphasis placed on the development of musical forms and performing mediums as they relate to Western Art Music through the ages. This course contributes to satisfying the College Level Communication and Computational Skills writing requirement (formerly Gordon Rule) (State Rule 6A-10.030) writing requirement. This course will help satisfy the graduation requirements of the Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree.
