PHI2600 Introduction to Ethics

An introduction to the key concepts and principles of ethics as a basis for the study of values, ethical decisions, right actions and justice. It covers the philosophical roots, as well as modern applications of ethics based upon the ideas and influence of a wide range of philosophers, Material is drawn from a wide variety of philosophers both within and outside the Western canon. This course contributes to satisfying the College-Level Communication and Computation Skills (State Rule 6A-10.030) writing requirement.
