PHY4424 Geometrical and Physical Optics

Geometrical optics at an advanced undergraduate level and introduces new topics, including aberration theory, optical instrumentation, wave optics, interference of light, interferometry, optical coherence, the interaction of light and matter, holography, and nonlinear optics.
