SON2122C OB/GYN Sonography 2 and Lab

The curriculum discusses evaluation of the fetus including related anatomy, physiology, pathology, and pathophysiology. Instruction focuses on normal and abnormal fetal conditions in pregnancy, including assessment of gestational age through biometry techniques, sonographic landmarks, and appearance of the fetal head, neck, spine, chest, abdomen, pelvis, extremities, and heart. Body planes which must be sonographically imaged for accurate diagnosis is stressed.
