BSC1010C General Biology I (For Science Majors) and Lab
State Course Description (6A-14.0303): In this course students will apply the scientific method to critically examine and explain the natural world. This course will cover molecular biology, cellular biology, genetics, metabolism, and replication. Basic principles, which apply to the nature of plant and animal cells, including metabolism, cellular reproduction, protein synthesis and genetics. Designed for science majors. This course will help satisfy the graduation requirements of the Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree.
