EDF1005 Introduction to the Teaching Profession

The purpose of this course is to introduce pre-service teachers to the education profession. Pre-service teachers will understand the historical, sociological and philosophical foundations of the profession as well as the challenges educators face in the 21st century. This course requires field experience in an approved public school.Â
