HIM2283C Advanced CPT Coding and Lab

This course will be a continuation of HIM2253 Beginning CPT. Lectures will focus on outpatient procedure coding using the most current CPT coding book. This in-depth study will prepare the student to participate in revenue cycle management activities within a healthcare organization. Throughout the course, the student will engage in hands-on learning using electronic healthcare record (EHR) software. Students must complete this course with a grade of "C" or higher.
