MAC2233 Calculus for Business and Nonphysical Sciences I

This course is designed for students who plan to major in Business or the Social Sciences. Topics include: Limits, continuity, differentiation, and integration of algebraic, exponential, and logarithmic functions with emphasis placed on applications in business, economics, and social sciences. A scientific calculator is required. (Prerequisite: Appropriate placement scores or passed MAC1140 with grade C or better, or permission of chairperson). This course will help satisfy the graduation requirements of the Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree.
