PMT0202C Introduction to Machining and Lab

This introductory course focuses on Computer Numerical Control (CNC) programming for CNC lathe machines. Students will study linear and polar coordinate systems, with extensive instruction in machine setup, operation, part programming, and toolpath development. Students will have the opportunity to learn production processes from the start of a new project through releasing the part to mass production.
