MAC1114 College Trigonometry

Topics include: The unit circle, trigonometric functions (definitions, graphs and inverses), right triangles, oblique triangles, trigonometric identities, trigonometric equations, the trigonometric form of complex numbers, two-dimensional vectors, polar coordinates, and parametric equations. A scientific calculator is required. (Prerequisite: Appropriate placement scores, successful completion of college prep course or qualified developmental exemption or passed MAC 1105 with grade "C" or better or permission of chairperson). This course will help satisfy the graduation requirements of the Associate of Arts (A.A.) degrree.
