DSC4725 Disaster Response and Recovery in Emergency Management
This course examines disaster response and recovery in emergency management. Students will analyze disaster types, theoretical frameworks, agency roles, technologies, and service delivery strategies across natural and human-caused incidents, including pandemics. Emphasis is placed on operational challenges, interagency coordination, and the complex dynamics of effective response and long-term recovery.
