PMT0215C Manual Machining and Lab

This introductory course covers Computer Numerical Control (CNC) programming for CNC vertical milling machines. Students focus on linear and polar coordinate systems while learning machine setup, operation, part programming, and toolpaths. The course also prepares students for the National Institute of Metalworking Skills (NIMS) CNC Milling: Programming, Setup & Operations Level 1 certification. To continue in the program, students must pass the course with a C or better.
