Mission:
To advance student professional success by delivering innovative office administration and legal operations education and opportunities.
Description:
Modern offices demand professionals with technology, communication, and organizational skills. The Office Program at Daytona State College gives you the opportunity to signal that you have successfully learned those valuable skills. Students interested in the legal field can specialize in Legal Operations. Graduates of the Office Program (General or Legal Operations) earn an Associate of Science in Office Administration degree.
The core curriculum emphasizes essential office skills, including communication, data management, software proficiency, and project coordination. The Legal Operations specialization includes American law and the American legal system, legal operations, law office management, and legal technology. AI tools are integrated across the curriculum.
The Office Program includes two embedded certificates—Office Support and Office Management—you can earn while progressing toward the full degree. Graduates also have the option to continue their education with Daytona State's Bachelor of Applied Science in Supervision and Management.
