Program Overview
Mission:
The program prepares students for entry-level employment as sound technicians or recording technicians and provides supplemental training for individuals currently working in audio production environments.
Description:
The curriculum includes setup and configuration of computers for audio applications, operation of audio recording and reproduction equipment, and foundational audio engineering techniques.

Graduates of the program will be able to:
- Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in teams while applying organizational and leadership skills.
- Apply foundational knowledge of music production technology and audio engineering.

Completion Requirement:
- Earn a grade "C" or better in all program-specific and prerequisite courses.
