Program Overview
Mission:
The Web Development Specialist Certificate provides students with foundational technical skills aligned with industry standards to design and develop websites using modern web programming languages. The program incorporates innovative teaching methods and current technologies to support student success.
Description:
This certificate prepares students to design, develop, and maintain websites using current web technologies. Students gain experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, programming, databases, and cloud-based systems.

Outcomes:
Graduates of the program will be able to:
- Demonstrate an understanding of Internet structure and navigation.

- Perform enterprise and web development tasks.
- Design and manage websites.
- Develop and troubleshoot applications using multiple programming languages.
- Apply professional and workplace computing skills.
- Develop web applications using integrated development environments.
Completion Requirement:
- Earn a grade "C" or better in all program-specific and prerequisite courses.
