Mission:
The program prepares students for entry-level employment and provides additional training for individuals working in manufacturing and high-technology industries. This certificate isupports entry into the manufacturing career cluster.
Description:
This certificate prepares students for entry-level employment as Engineering Support Specialists in manufacturing and engineering environments. Students develop skills supporting engineering design, manufacturing processes, testing, and quality control. The program also provides supplemental training for individuals currently employed in technical occupations.

Outcomes:
Graduates of the program will be able to:
- Demonstrate an understanding of industrial processes and material properties.
- Generate and interpret computer-aided drawings.

- Summarize quality assurance methods and quality control concepts.
- Demonstrate proficiency using tools, instruments, and testing devices.

Completion Requirement:
- Earn a grade "C" or better in all program-specific and prerequisite courses.
